Room was spacious with great views of the Ohio River. Parking fees were quite steep and complicated. Food options were limited and closed early.

Perfectly located near downtown with stunning river views from the glass elevators! My room was spacious and so comfy, complete with a wet bar for those late-night snacks. The food at the on-site restaurant was delicious - those fried green tomatoes were next level!
Do recommend 😊❤️

The view from my room blew me away. The location lets you stroll to everything you need without breaking a sweat!
The room maintenance could really use a tune-up.

Pleasant hotel, pleasant location with exceptional service that made our stay enjoyable, from the warm greetings at the 24-hour reception to the delightful breakfast with great views overlooking the river.
Nothing it was perfect.

With stunning river views and easy access to nearby attractions, it was perfect for exploring. The food at Swizzle was a highlight, offering a unique dining experience high above the city.

The room was spacious with a nice view of the river. The parking garage was confusing, and high fees added up quickly. an average experience. The location is great, with easy access to the YUM Center.

I loved how easy it was to stroll around and discover amazing attractions nearby, like the Louisville Slugger Museum just a 10-minute walk away, and the beautiful Waterfront Park only 1 kilometer from my room, making it perfect for leisurely walks; plus, there are countless fantastic dining options like Jeff Ruby's Steakhouse and Bluegrass Brewing Company just a few steps away, adding to the vibrant atmosphere of the area; everything about my stay was great, including the spacious room with a separate living area, but the closet door needed a bit of maintenance.

The room was comfy and quiet. I appreciated the lovely view of the water from the 22nd floor. The sunset over the river was stunning. the bedding felt inadequate, like sleeping between flimsy layers. The bathroom door’s opaque glass illuminated the room when the light was on, which was distracting at night. I found it odd that washcloths and a blanket were missing. Temperature control was effective. While the room was decent, it didn’t match the elegance of the lobby. Spotty staff communication regarding amenities was frustrating.

Check-in was a hassle—our keys didn’t work, and we had to wait ages for replacements. The valet service was even worse; we waited over an hour for our car and received zero explanation. Super frustrating!

The location was great, with easy access to attractions and affordable parking. the room had maintenance issues; a broken toilet took too long to fix, and the door was very difficult to open. Little things like trash cans without liners were annoying too. While the public spaces were beautiful, the room felt a bit neglected for the price we paid. Still, the friendly bartenders and cozy atmosphere made up for some of that.

Clean rooms and great amenities; parking was overpriced.

I felt like a VIP staying at a hotel with a rotating restaurant, delicious food options, and access to a toy soldiers collection. The spa was a cherry on top to get pampered like a queen!
Loved standing ankle-deep in a slow-draining shower. Such a wonderful spa day!

We partied at Swizzle on the 25th floor and sipped on delish cocktails while enjoying the spinning city view. The hotel's location was epic - we could easily walk to cool hangout spots and popular venues. Can't wait to plan our next trip here!
Wish there was a wild rooftop pool party - that would've been so sick for us party animals! .

What a fantastic location! Perfect spot for exploring the Bourbon trail and attending events at Whitney Hall. The staff were attentive, friendly, and made our stay extra special. The King room we stayed in was spacious with a breathtaking view. The facilities were top-notch and impeccably clean.
Parking fees were more than initially quoted, which was a bit of a letdown. The room lacked basic amenities like a mini-fridge and microwave as advertised, and we had to request shampoo.

Visiting the Thunder Command for the fireworks and air show at the hotel was an unforgettable experience for our family. The waterfront setting provided a picturesque backdrop for our family reunion, making it the perfect destination for a relaxing weekend getaway with stunning views of the Ohio River.
My children wanted more kid-friendly activities on-site.

The building is stunning and the kids had a blast at the pool. We enjoyed easy access to great dining and even some spa treatments right onsite.
It wasn't the least expensive option, but it was worth it.

Exceeded expectations in service and accommodations. The location is perfect, with a stunning view of the Ohio River. The room was clean and spacious. The bed? Extremely comfortable. not everything was perfect. The air conditioning struggled to cool below 73, making for uncomfortable nights. The plumbing issue was frustrating, and I never received the advertised anniversary rate. Noise from an unruly group disrupted my sleep. The parking fee felt excessive at $30 per night, and the garage seemed sketchy. Dining experience was disappointing. After an hour wait for a simple sandwich, I left hungry and annoyed. A bit more attention to detail would elevate this place from good to great. It has potential; it just needs refinement.

We recently stayed at the Galt House and had a mixed experience. The comfort of the bed was top-notch, and the lighting in the bathroom was excellent. there were some disappointing aspects as well. the room did not have the promised view of the water, which was a letdown. The trash cans had not been emptied, the bedding was uncomfortable, and there was a persistent sewage smell in the air. The TV was very basic and lacked variety in channels. One of the major downsides was the state of the outdoor pool area. It looked outdated and in need of a serious revamp. The signage around the hotel was also lacking, making it difficult to navigate the premises. The staff, particularly at the front desk and the whiskey bar, were quite rude, which put a damper on our overall experience. the hotel's proximity to restaurants and the sky bridge to the Yum center was convenient. the issues with cleanliness, outdated facilities, and unhelpful staff left us feeling underwhelmed. Despite having stayed at the Galt House multiple times in the past, this recent visit fell short of our expectations.

During my Xmas stay, the double sinks in the bathroom and comfy beds were a highlight. The location in downtown, overlooking the Ohio River, was fantastic. The variety of dining and drink options nearby made exploring easy and enjoyable.
The parking fees were steep, and some areas of the room needed attention, such as the non-functional fridge. Additionally, the service at one of the bars was disappointing, with a rude bartender.

the boutiques, the Rivue on the 25th floor with rotating seating, and the breathtaking view from my room made my experience unforgettable. the bed was so comfortable, and the comforter was so fluffy, I fell right asleep. the location was great for walking around downtown and only a 15-minute drive from the race track.

The hotel is conveniently located near the riverboats and a short walk from the 4th St area and Ali museum. There is a lovely bar in the connecting walkway, and the hotel has easy access from the freeway. The open areas are nice, and the hotel offers multiple on-site dining options.
Felt very at home, nothing to complain about.

Our stay at this regal hotel was a wonderful experience. The spacious and clean room offered breathtaking views of the Ohio River. The hotel's prime location allowed us to explore the city and visit family nearby. The friendly staff went above and beyond to ensure our needs were met, even making follow-up calls. The 2nd-floor dining area served delicious and reasonably priced food. We would definitely return when the construction ends.

My room had a beautiful balcony with a great view. The location was perfect for walking to the riverfront. The hotel has been updated recently and looks very nice. The bed was comfortable, and the bathroom was pristine. I appreciated the easy access to Fourth Street Live.
